Daily Tarbiyah Assemblies
Each morning before the school day commences, all our learners participate in Tarbiyah assemblies. These sessions focus on moral and spiritual education, providing guidance and inspiration to start the day with a positive and reflective mindset.
Friday Zikr and Durood Programme
On Friday mornings, we hold a special Zikr and Durood programme where our learners, along with their teachers, recite 40 Duroods. This collective recitation creates a sense of unity and devotion, reinforcing the significance of sending blessings upon the Prophet Nabi ﷺ.
Islamic Curriculum
Our Islamic curriculum offers a comprehensive religious education, immersing learners in Qur’an recitation and memorisation, Hadith studies, Tafseer, and Akhlaaq. Learners also practice Surahs and Duas, delve into Islamic history, and engage in “Heart Work” activities designed to internalise Islamic values. This holistic approach ensures our learners develop both spiritually and morally.
Daily Zohr Prayer and Early Dismissal on Fridays
Learners perform their Zohr Salah at school. This practice is woven into our daily routine, helping learners fulfill their religious duties and remain spiritually engaged throughout the school day.
Early Dismissal on Fridays: To honour the significance of Jummah prayer, school hours are adjusted on Fridays, providing them ample time to participate in the Jummah Prayer and benefit from its spiritual rewards.
Termly Jamaat Trips
To further enrich the spiritual experience of our male learners, we organise termly Jamaat trips. These outings provide valuable opportunities for community engagement and personal growth.
Islamic Dress Code
Our uniform requirements reflect the values of Islamic dress, ensuring that all learners adhere to principles of modesty. The attire is designed to be respectful and suitable for a school environment.
Facilities and Amenities
At QIA we are dedicated to providing an environment that supports both the educational and spiritual needs of our learners. Our facilities include:
Separate Male and Female Facilities: We ensure privacy and comfort with dedicated facilities for male and female learners.
Wudhu Areas: Our campus is equipped with designated mudds (wash stations) for performing wudhu, making it convenient for learners to maintain their ritual purity throughout the day.
Dedicated Prayer Rooms: We have separate prayer rooms for male and female learners, ensuring a respectful and comfortable space for performing Salah.
Duaas and Reminders: Contributing to our spiritually enriching atmosphere, we have duaas displayed around the campus and regular reminders to encourage mindfulness and reflection.
Islamic Challenges and Awards
Durood Challenge: Learners who recite the most durood are recognised through our Durood Challenge. This initiative encourages regular recitation and creates a deeper connection to the Prophetﷺ.
Fasting Challenge: We honour our younger learners who observe the most fasts throughout the month of Ramadhaan. This promotes the practice of fasting and rewards commitment to this important act of worship.
Muadhin Auditions: Each year, we hold auditions to select the Muadhin of the Year. This opportunity allows learners to showcase their skills in the call to prayer (adhan) and earn recognition for their dedication.
Integrating Islamic Perspectives in Current Events and Social Issues
We promote a deep understanding of social issues and global news by incorporating daily discussions that reflect Islamic values. Learners are encouraged to engage with current events through the perspective of Islamic teachings. By analysing contemporary issues and news stories within the framework of our faith, we help learners develop a balanced worldview that aligns with Islamic principles.
